The Backstory
Oodler was aiming to create a universal payment reward-loyalty applications for small cafes and consumers. We'd enable these multiple cafes to have a centralized ecosystem for their clients through one easy to use application.
The Challenge
Oodler needed a solution to scan the phone's bar code to the POS. As a result, we decided to utilize the pre-existing rear-facing camera on the tablets which the POS system resides on. The camera is what enables the facilitation of payment (scanning of a customer’s QR code on their phone).
The Result
When our users buy coffee they earn reward points which they can then spend back at the coffee shop. Forget punch-cards & credit cards!
